You want to tell us about an upcoming event or announcement? Great! Just work your way through this form, being as thorough as possible.

Follow the tips in the right-hand column – they’re there to help you. And remember, questions marked with an asterisk (*) are really important and can’t be left empty.

The basics

Events are time-and-place based (eg: “BOP tonight!” or “Cocktails every Thursday”). Announcements are informational (eg: “Join the netball team!”).

Generally, what’s your event about?

Keep it short and snappy. Don’t mention the time, date or venue – that’ll come later.

Sell it, baby, sell it. Remember you’ll get a chance to mention the time, date and venue later. And no hyperlinks or HTML, they’ll just be stripped out. There are boxes for websites and Facebook links later on.

When, where and how much?

eg: “4–6pm every Friday’,
“10pm til late, Saturday 4th May” or
“11am, the first Monday of every month”

Is it at the “GTC Stables Bar”, the “GTC Gallery”, the “GTC Common Room”, or somewhere else?

eg: “10.00” or “0” if it’s free. Leave the box empty if you don’t want to show a price.

Is the event mainly for Green Templeton students, for all Oxford students, or for the general public?
